SPOKANE, WA — FMI Equipment today announced key changes to its senior leadership team, positioning the company for continued growth across its seven dealership locations throughout the Western United States.

Dave Kopp, founder of FMI Equipment of Spokane, has been elected President of FMI and will oversee all seven dealership locations across Washington, Oregon, and California. Simultaneously, Mike Kizis has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

Brett Davis, who joined the company on January 1, 2024, to help realign FMI's business units, has stepped down from his position. "We want to thank Brett for his significant contribution to FMI in helping drive change and growth. Under Brett's leadership, sales increased from $54 million to $90 million in 2024," said Chris Enbom, CEO of FMI Equipment.

FMI Equipment specializes in providing specialized equipment to arborists, landscapers, construction companies, and land clearing and fuel mitigation businesses. The company's expertise includes mulching and mastication, chipping (featuring Morbark products), and construction equipment. FMI maintains locations in Spokane, Tacoma, and Richland, Washington; Portland and Medford, Oregon; and Fontana and Yuba City, California.
